For items made of delicate fabrics such as tulle, silk, lace, or delicate wool, we recommend washing them by hand. But you can use Machine washing if you carefully follow the instructions.
HAND WASHING
If you prefer to hand wash your lingerie, follow the instruction bellow:
- Use a cold water
- Use a gentle soap for hand washing.
- Massage the soapy water evenly onto the fabric and allow the lingerie to soak for roughly 30 minutes.
- Rinse well once the soak is complete and gently press out excess water.
- Be sure to never wring the lingerie (in other words, do not twist it up tightly or squeeze it).
- Lay flat according its natural shape to dry.
MACHINE WASHING
To keep your lingerie for longer, this is what you will need to do:
- Tulle and lace are fragile. Do not soak before washing.
- Use a gentle product for machine washing.
- Protect your lingerie by using a wash bag.
- Machine wash at up to 30°C delicate or simply machine hand wash with lots of water.
- For machine washable silks lingerie, use the silk programme.
- Do not use bleach or use stain remover.
- Wash inside out with similar colours.
- Avoid leaving to soak, do not twist.
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not tumble dry as it may break the elastic in your bottoms.
- Delicately wring out and dry flat.
- We do not recommend ironing except for cotton lingerie. For silk, always use the lowest temperature on the iron and do no steam.
BRA & SETS WASHING
For set washing whether they are bra or babydolls sets, follow the previous instructions according to your washing choice and the following instructions:
- Fasten bra clasp before washing.
- Wash the top and bottoms together.
- Use a wash bag for machine washable lingerie.
